A one-day programme exploring the changes already shaping agriculture, construction and transport — from artificial intelligence and sustainability to new technologies. BILTIM TEHNIKA is more than a static display. This year, professional machinery operators will be able to take the controls in dedicated, cordoned-off demo areas. Under an instructor’s supervision, they can assess each machine’s manoeuvrability, ease of operation, visibility and capabilities in conditions close to real work.

International Woodcutting Competition and Skill Demonstrations

From September 24 to 26, BILTIM TEHNIKA 2026 will host the Baltic Sea Region Logging Competition, bringing together young foresters and experienced professionals from Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, and Ukraine. Participants will compete in chain replacement, precision and combined-length cutting, tree felling, limbing, and a team relay.

On Saturday, the competition will be complemented by professional skill demonstrations, followed by an awards ceremony for the winners.

In cooperation with Ogres Technical School.

Venue: Outdoors, Zone E, near the TOWER (at the entrance to Exhibition Area No. 3).

Two days - 25.09 and 26.09, at BILTIM TEHNIKA 2026, you’ll find more than commercial vehicle exhibitors. In the TRUCKMEET Zone, you can get up close to meticulously maintained and uniquely customised trucks from across Latvia. Each has a story, and you’ll have the chance to meet the people who drive and care for them.

Activity “Exhibition Adventure Guide”

For the youngest visitors, an educational stamp-collecting activity “Exhibition Adventure Guide” will be prepared, allowing them to explore the exhibition in an interactive and entertaining way. By collecting 8 stamps, participants will have the chance to enter a prize draw. Activity maps will be available at the exhibition entrances (ticket offices) and at the INFO point in the hall.
